BIO SUMMARY

As part of my ongoing art practice, I have participated in numerous art workshops, art history courses, professional art business seminars, as well as a variety of artistic retreats.  In 2009 I retired from 30 years of public service in behavioral health administration.  I am thrilled to devote my time to creating, exhibiting, and selling my artwork. From 2009 to 2014, I participated in a monthly independent study and critique group in West Hartford, CT and North Adams, MA, as well as maintaining memberships in artist cooperatives. 
As an award-winning artist exhibiting since 2009, my work has appeared in over 100 juried statewide, regional, national, and international exhibitions. Selected juried group exhibitions include Atlantic Gallery, Chelsea, NYC; Bromfield Gallery-SOWA, Boston, MA; Museum of Encaustic Art, Santa Fe; in Connecticut: New Britain Museum of American Art, Slater Memorial Museum, Mattatuck Museum, Mystic Museum of Art, Ely Center for Contemporary Art.
